Subfloor Compatibility
You can install NuCore Crestline Oak directly over concrete, plywood, OSB, existing vinyl, and ceramic tile when the surface is clean, dry, and level within 3/16″ over 10 feet. The rigid core construction bridges minor imperfections in the subfloor better than flexible luxury vinyl plank products with standard cores. Remove any existing carpet and pad before installation, and address any significant low spots or high points with self-leveling compound.
Maintenance & Long-Term Care
Regular maintenance for NuCore Crestline Oak requires only basic cleaning with a pH-neutral floor cleaner and microfiber mop. The wear layer protects against most household chemicals, but we recommend avoiding abrasive scrubbers and steam mops that can damage the surface finish over time.
